La guitarra is a sophisticated mate drinking tube made of stainless steel. The filter can be opened with a flick of the wrist and cleaned quickly and easily, and just as quickly it is closed again and ready for use. The filter properties are also not to be scoffed at, all around a successful bombilla for uncomplicated mate tea enjoyment.

Tip: if you like to drink your mate with sugar, juice or other sticky additives, then this bombilla is more suitable than our other models.

Care instructions:

This bombilla is extremely easy to care for, simply rinse out after use, let it dry and use it again. It is suitable for the dishwasher.

What is a bombilla?

A bombilla is a mate tea drinking tube with a strainer at the bottom. The mate tea leaves/tea leaves do not go into this sieve, but into the drinking vessel. Now pour water in and insert the bombilla with the sieve downwards. The water should not be too hot, a maximum of 70 degrees, so as not to burn your mouth on the hot metal.

With mate tea with very fine particles, it can happen that these particles pass through or block the fine holes. If it is clogged, simply flush with water. To prevent particles from getting through the holes or clogging the mate filter, there are various preparation techniques that we will be providing information about in our blog.
